Late April 2024

So a lot of things have happened and I got behind. Had a swollen cornea which would not go down with standard eye drop meds and required a corneal transplant. The first one in early December of 2023 didn’t take and after about three weeks surgeon did a full transplant. This one seemed to heal properly but Doc wouldn’t release me to travel until February. Therefore, late getting to Florida. Meanwhile website hosting expired and had difficulties with the renewal. Got that fixed and then just became involved in too many other things. Most of the short pieces that went out into the world returned with rejections. One flash piece was accepted, though, I don’t know when it will be published. Vacuuming Unused Rooms is one of those stories I felt had something to say but it had been out in the aether quite a bit. It will be in an online magazine called Stupefying Stories.

Dracula novel is at about 70K words but have hit some road bumps in certain scenes. Meanwhile I’ve written a couple of flash pieces, and more full length short stories. Also have a non-fiction piece I hope to get out in the world.
