It has been a long summer. First there was the relief of vaccines and then the Delta variant landed. I think we had about two weeks of a touch of freedom. Had breakfast twice at McATeers, a local eatery and then became reluctant to go out again. Cases in West Virginia are skyrocketing once more. Seems most adults don’t want to adult so much.
Have been concentrating on the time travel novel and each time I feel like I’m getting close to being done another plot inconsistency pops up that requires fixing. Way too long a time on this first book and have been neglecting short fiction writing.
Also have been blessed with a rough bout of sciatica and arthritis which has made even simple things difficult. Writing has been hard because sitting is hard. PT has helped abate some of the symptoms and I feel somewhat functional again. Sigh….
